Malted Milk Protein Shake

My Malted Milk Protein Shake recipe is a simple but decadent upgrade to a plain vanilla protein shake. Tastes just like a malt milkshake!

Course: beverage, Snack
Cuisine: American
Diet: Vegetarian
Servings: 1 serving
Calories: 278kcal

Equipment

  • 1 Blender or Shaker Bottle Blender will give you a better texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 2 tablespoon DME - Dried Malt Extract
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla Flavoured Protein Powder

Instructions

  • Measure all ingredients into a blender or shaker bottle.
  • Blend or shake to combine, serve immediately!

Notes

I highly recommend using a blender for making this shake, as it will give you a smoother, thicker texture.   Also, the DME will combine much better, than if shaken
See post for information about the malt extract.
